EnviroCom is embracing Bin Education Engagements (BEEs) to replace Bin Inspections.

After many years of delivering high quality Bin Inspections for local governments across Vic, ACT, NSW and Qld, EnviroCom has changed from inspection to Bin Education Engagements (BEEs). The numbers are now in and BEEs work!

Around 31% of public interactions at the bin began with the resident not being positive about the program. When the BEE was concluded 92% of public interactions at the BEE resulted with the resident having a positive or more positive attitude to the program.

This proves that taking the time when available to interact, educate and engage with the community results is significant positive change. Incorporating and valuing communication skills, investing in the BEEs training and resources and working with the collection contractor to ensure BEEs are able to continue when residents are active in the street elevates an inspection to Bin Education Engagement opportunity.
